Beijing — Summer Palace & Bullet Train to Suzhou

After breakfast, visit the Summer Palace, a masterpiece of Chinese landscape design centred on the vast Kunming Lake. Important Notes

Booking Conditions

A deposit of $500 per person is required at the time of booking to secure your place. Full payment is due 60 days before departure. Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to departure receive a full refund minus the deposit. Between 30 and 60 days, 50% of the tour price is refunded. Less than 30 days, no refund is available. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance.

Visa Requirements

US passport holders require a visa to enter China. We provide all necessary visa support documentation, including invitation letters and itinerary confirmation. Please allow at least 4 weeks for visa processing. Visa fees are not included in the tour price and must be paid directly to the Chinese embassy or consulate.

Health & Fitness

This tour involves moderate walking, including stairs and uneven surfaces at the Great Wall and ancient sites. A reasonable level of fitness is required. Please inform us of any medical conditions or mobility requirements at the time of booking so we can make appropriate arrangements.

Single Traveller Supplement

Tour prices are based on twin-share accommodation. Single travellers may request a room to themselves for a supplement of $890. If you are travelling alone and willing to share, we will endeavour to pair you with a same-sex roommate. If no roommate is available, the single supplement will apply.

While we make every effort to operate the tour as described, occasional modifications may be necessary due to weather, local conditions, or operational requirements. Any significant changes will be communicated to travellers as soon as possible. Optional activities and personal expenses are not included unless specifically stated.
